Woo hoo! We are almost approaching the weekend, so hang in there readers! Also hang on till the end of the post for a cool announcement. Today we are going to satisfy that sweet tooth. It's a candy themed wedding! You can't miss out on our personalized candy favor bag to remind your guest of the scrumptious candy wedding theme they won't want to forget.
Love is sweet! Isn't it sweet to marry the one you love? So celebrate the sweetness you share for each other with a candy themed wedding or bridal shower. (Pardon the puns, I couldn't resist it.) A candy theme would be popular for your guests of all ages.
If you've already decided on a candy theme, but not sure where to start, definitely start by choosing your favorite candy you want to feature. If you like childhood candies such as tootsie rolls or lollipop suckers, you could turn it into a vintage wedding. Choosing your candy could also lead to a suitable color palette. I started the inspirational board by picking cotton candy, and it worked itself into a pink and black color scheme.
Oh, the sugary goodness doesn't have to end there. Your candy theme wedding wouldn't be complete without an abundance of candy. You could have a candy buffet at the dessert table, alongside other desserts. This would be fun for guests as they relive their memories of being kids in a candy shop.
Here's a fun and simple DIY candy detail you could add to your wedding. For the candy-shaped note cards (second from right on the inspirational board) click here to head to Martha Stewart Weddings for the direct pdf file download. These are great for guests to write their well wishes. You could also use them as seating cards.
I hope you are feeling inspired by a candy themed wedding and use some of our ideas for your wedding. Planning this wedding should be loads of fun!
