Thinking about your wedding leaving you with butterflies in your stomach? Fear not, it's all part of the nervous, excited, happy mixture of emotions! Have this beautiful, delicate insect all around your graceful wedding with a butterfly theme. Seal invites and thank you notes with our butterfly sealing wax kit, combining a modern and youthful twist on an old tradition!
Butterflies come in all shapes, sizes and color. Simply choose a color palette and incorporate them in your butterfly details - a large variety of colors would look natural on butterflies. The color I choose for the inspirational board was orange (seen commonly in butterflies) and this gives the wedding a rustic, earthy feel to the wedding, perfect for fall season. There are so many items that can be decorated with butterlfies: invites, seating cards, favors, bouquets and even hair pieces! You could partake in a butterfly releasing ceremony which are quite common in weddings.
According to an old American Indian Legend, anyone who desires a wish to come true must first capture a butterfly and whisper their wish to it. The butterfly will then grant their wish only in exchange of its freedom. This tradition is simply romantic and perfect for a wedding wish to stay forever in love! The metamorphosis of a butterfly also symbolizes the transition of your relationship, and the different stages of courtship. Most commonly, butterflies stands for purity, naturalism, and represents a symbol of love and relationship - everything perfect for your wedding day.
This is one of my favorite themes and inspiration board I've come up with. I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I did and are feeling inspired by a butterfly wedding. Have fun and good luck!
