Carnival Wedding

I love carnivals! Carnival weddings are a great way to relive your precious childhood memories and combine it with the most important event of your life. It is a great venue to entertain your guests of all ages. Serve up all kinds of candy treats and use cute pedestal stands to add fun details and decorations to the table.

As seen in the inspirational board, a common color scheme for carnival weddings is turquoise, red and pink. It is fun, quirky and whimsical, and reminiscent to colors of popular carnival wedding snacks, cotton candy and Twizzlers. Utah Bride Blog has a carnival wedding really similar to the one in the board with the same color scheme (look out for the bride's wedding dress, she pulls off red and turquoise details perfectly!)

If carnivals are too over-the-top for you, you can still have an indoor wedding with subtle carnival details such as using prints with Ferris wheels or carnival flags, just like this featured wedding in Green Wedding Shoes. I love how they are able to make it look vintage too.

I'm grinning from cheek to cheek with the thought of heading to the carnival and indulging myself with cotton candy and fun rides this weekend. If you are considering this wedding theme, you should definitely go to the carnival to look for more inspiration. It'll make a fun date too!

  1. I didn't know what a "blog carnival" was, but now I do and I will certainly submit a wedding post to the next one. Good work.

  2. It's useful that we know how Carnival really is! I haven't seen it either; mayhaps my newsreader isn't reading it...
