A Wedding Do: Dolled Up Disposable Cameras!

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear “disposable camera”? Spring Break 2006?—or maybe a water-proof version you used while floating the Guadalupe last summer? Luckily, weddings have given the often abused disposable camera a whole new element of glamour—and the rhinestones don’t hurt either!

By placing a cute, wedding-themed disposable camera on each table, guests can show off their creativity by playing photographer. The cameras often come with instruction cards to give guests some direction and get their ideas rolling. Even though your very qualified photographer will be doing most of the moment-capturing at your wedding, some of your favorite pictures may end up being the ones of your little brothers pretending to punch each other, or your bridesmaids striking a ‘Charlie’s Angels’ pose. These pictures will be candid and uncensored—after all, there is no “delete” on a disposable!

You can ask your maid of honor to collect the evidence—I mean cameras—at the end of the night, and get them developed while you’re on your honeymoon. You will be welcomed home by the creative, funny and sweet pictures—surely your brothers didn’t have them the whole time! These candid pictures will allow you to hold on to even more memories from your wedding, and give your guests something fun to do!

  1. What a fun and cool way to make guests happy on a wedding. :) If I'll be attending a wedding which allows me to take cool photos with a rhinestome disposable camera like this, I'll definitely never forget that wedding. :)
